Deal Instructions
  1. Make sure you have your Marriott Bonvoy membership information ready. Not a member? Join now for free
  2. Open the Uber app.
  3. Go to "Settings" and scroll down.
  4. Tap on "Marriott Bonvoy"
  5. Tap "Link Account"
  6. Sign in to your Marriott Bonvoy account with your email or membership number and wait for confirmation that your accounts have been linked.
  7. Start earning on qualifying Uber Eats orders and select Uber rides
    • Note, must be completed by May 31, 2021

Marriott Bonvoy and Uber have teamed up where Marriott Bonvoy members (free to join) can earn points toward free nights when ordering food delivery on Uber Eats and requesting select Uber rides
  • Earn 3 points per dollar on Uber Premium rides (includes Uber XL, Uber Black, Uber SUV and Uber Comfort).
  • Earn 6 points per dollar when you order Uber Eats while staying at a hotel within the Marriott portfolio.
  • Earn 2 points per dollar when you order Uber Eats at home or on the road.
For a limited time, members who link their accounts and have at least one qualifying transaction by May 31 will earn an extra 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points.

To link accounts, open the Uber app and tap the menu on the top left corner. Tap 'Settings,' and scroll down to tap 'Marriott Bonvoy' under the Rewards section. Tap 'Link Account' and then log into your Marriott Bonvoy account. Once accounts are linked, users can start earning points on qualifying Uber Eats orders and qualifying rides. Points balances can be viewed on Marriott Bonvoy account profiles.

Marriott - like the other major hotel chains, has gone to a revenue-based points system. Their base rate is 10 points/$1 spent on room rate/hotel charges (basically everything on your final bill excluding tax), higher if one has elite status and/or there are promos to take advantage of.
