Thank you OP!
I'm in for one.
Just got my order confirmation email from Walgreens Photo.

I got one the last time.
My local Walgreens makes very good quality prints so I know that I will be as pleased with this one as I was with the last one.

Got a print of this the last time they did this a couple weeks ago. Didn't know if it was a lazy Saturday morning, but my print got miscut and they left annoying creases in the print. Glad it was only $2.

Also wish they didn't put the word "Poster" in the product name. It really just feels like a giant photo.

You just have to point out the flaw and ask them to reprint.

It might feel like a giant photo, but they are not printing these on "photo paper" it is a poster type of paper and they also don't guarantee the size (thus miscutting is acceptable if they leave a white boarder, etc) as in a poster.

When they print them properly worth the $2 for sure....but they are "poster" prints. Legit photo paper of 11x14 size can easily cost $2 for the paper let alone the ink, printer, manual labor.

I've gotten them twice now and they are printed on the same photo paper as the regular 8 by 10 photo prints.

At least that is what my local Walgreens prints them on.

They normally price them for $10.99.

Must have been a really off day for them then lol. Definitely feels like the same material that my 4x6 or etc. photos usually come from. The miscut was like a good 3-4 inches of extra vertical white space on the top that I chopped off manually. Not 100% on the quality, but hey $2. I'll prob toss this one and go to a poster printing site instead.

Where are you finding these deals? They don't show up on the regular photo promos page, and I can never find them nor their expiration dates.

Thanks

Thanks OP! I'm not too concerned with the quality for $2. I just added some 60th bday text to a hilarious photo of my dad and ordered it as a gag gift.

I'm a professional photographer, have a $2000 printer that uses $600 ink refills. Have many different types of paper.

I have 5 Walgreens within 5 miles of the house and have tried all of them. The paper all of my local stores use is extremely different they also use different printers for the job. All the stores carry glossy paper for the photo prints and the large format 11x14 up to 2ft by 6ft paper banner prints use the same poster matte to semi gloss paper. The 8x10 are always far more glossy.

The online preview seemed like it fit ok. The pixel count was 3:4 like the sizing.
