You can find a YouTube video of Gordon Ramsey yelling at a chef in hells kitchen for not using a nonstick for something that should be.
While I don't season it like my cast iron, I've been successful using the same prep method. Add a couple of drops of oil when heating, spread, wipe off. Amazingly, that is enough to do over-easy eggs -- just be patient for them to release before trying to flip -- although I usually add a dollop of butter or olive oil for flavor.
