IMHO, the 1500 is the Oral-B sweet spot for Slickdealers (i.e., those who want the best value). The cheapest Oral-B with a li-ion battery, does the same job as others, but without the extra cost frills like bluetooth.

$30 per is a great price.
From this site [electricteeth.com]:

"The Pro 1000 has a motor that is capable of 8,800 oscillations and 20,000 pulsations, but the 1500's motor is capable of 9,900 oscillations and 45,000 pulsations."
I have one of these and it's absolutely wonderful.
The feature set on these is perfect for deaf people because they use visible light to indicate status, not beeps.
The default mode has the brush do this weird pause/pulse every time you're supposed to switch quadrants (to ensure you brush your teeth long enough) and if you press the brush too hard against your teeth a visible red light appears that you can see out of the corner of your eye.

Just want to get some consensus. Oral B or Sonicare in terms of electric toothbrush?
I was an oral b user for a long time but recently switched to sonicare and find the sonicare to be superior. Cleans gum line better, wake up in the morning with cleaner mouth feel. Also it seems nearly impossible to brush too hard with the sonicare. My .02

Overall, Sonicare for daily use.
Oral-B is harsher but the rotating brush works wonders when paired with an abrasive whitening toothpaste (like the Ora2 Premium) that I use every so often.

Oral b goes in a circle I believe and the sonicare doesn't. It moves but not the same way

I bought the pro 1000 in the last deal for $25 with extra brush heads. Is this a better deal? (I bought 2 pro 1000s). Is the upgrade in battery worth it?

For what it's worth NYT wirecutters top pick is the pro 1000.
I think this one has 2 modes, regular and sensitive mode

Oral B's round head and generally cheaper tooth brush head replacement is better imo. I am dentist.

I was able to find the Oral-B Genius 6000 Electric Toothbrush in Black only for $17. I feel extremely lucky finding that deal comparing how much this Oral-B Pro Clean 1500 is priced at.

I have had the same experience. Sonicare is superior to the rotating head of the Oral-B. My dentist also recommends the Sonicare. I highly recommend the Sonicare and if you have never used one, give it a shot.

Any thoughts on this Sonicare vs the current one at Costco ? Costco has the Diamond Clean (model: HX935420) on sale. 2 pack for $59 or $69 can't recall.

Yes, they scan a membership card before they start checking you out.
See my previous Valpak deal(https://www.valpak.com/c/coupon-c...ub-coupons), basically you get a membership almost for free but you pay tax on it($4.61 in CA). I just bought it to get this deal: If you do the Valpak deal, you get the gift card instantly. Don't forget to opt out of the auto-renewal on your CC.
