ARM processors require special versions of of your programs usually available only through the Windows store to work great. At the moment, that software is limited...so research ARM compatible apps to see if it matters to you. Chrome browser has not been released for ARM yet....but the similar new Edge browser has, for one example. ARM tablets can run some 64bit programs, but they usually run a lot slower and may crash more frequently.
The benefit of ARM processors is that they take much less power, so you can make them lighter, and with great battery life. So, if they run the software you need, they can be a great choice. If they do not, then not the best choice.
This has been out there since the SP 7+ deal was posted and its still available which shows how uncertain most people are of getting it. If all your software works, its a great deal but for me, I'm not willing to take the chance - still holding out to see if TD ships my SP 7+!
Chrome can't work is quite surprise. I will wait surface 7
