Great price, but I would prefer to spend a few more bucks and get one that displays the pulse waveform on the screen. That can tell you whether your pulse is regular or irregular (eg a-fib). Granted you could simply feel the pulse or watch the little pulsing bars on the screen, but a visual waveform over 10 beats or so is a lot more convincing to assess regularity.

I just wanna say that I brought an Ankovo thermometer before and it was very inaccurate. One minute my temperature is 98 and the next, it's 100.2. Many of the reviews for the thermometer said the same thing. That's why I am very skeptical of buying anymore Ankovo products.

Amazing how cheap they can make it. Not easy to find a rechargeable LED light for this price. Throw in display and a bunch of other stuff.

Update: Oh, it's a AAA battery none rechargeable. Big Grin

Pneumonia and other problems can cause dangerous low oxygen. Having something like this in your medicine cabinet can give you a heads up to problems. For the cost it is a no-brainer.

I check mine daily just to make sure my breathing is regular. You might be surprised how easy it is to not breath as deeply and regularly as you should because of stress or other problems.

Even after COVID, still plenty of people with respiratory diseases (lung disease, silent hypoxia, etc) that need monitoring. People with sleep apnea will want to monitor it to see if therapies are working (although this type of oximeter is not suitable for that purpose). And either way, you're not down much if that'll make you feel better to have it in your home med kit.

I had Covid in Jan-Feb 2020 before anyone knew it was already in the US. I never had breathing issues until that and more than a year later I'm still experiencing breathing issues. Have some friends who are in the same boat as me. So these will be very helpful in monitoring for us.
