Was looking for some renewal codes to bring down the $40 annual Mychoice fee before I realized that UPS MyChoice is now regularly priced at $19.99 annually as of the end of 2020.
If you get a lot of UPS packages sent with their cheap-USPS partnered service, SurePost, the free unlimited (and automatic if you set it in your account) upgrades to UPS ground make this service worth it.
You can turn on the auto-upgrade feature of mychoice premium by drilling down through these menus:
Preferences -> Edit Membership Preferences -> Delivery Options -> UPS SurePost® Package Upgrades
Upgrade to mychoice premium in the app or the website for $19.99 now, no promo codes required. Making this thread for others like me that didn't realize the price had gone down and they don't have to dig for promo codes anymore to keep the service at a reasonable price.

NOTE: This new lower pricing plan doesn't let you opt out of auto renewal in advance, so if you don't want it at the end of your term, you have to remember to cancel it or it will renew you automatically yearly forever.

I tried to upgrade 3 SurePost packages and all 3 said "not eligible".
So it's certainly nothing I would pay for.
This thread is for people that DIDN'T KNOW THAT and may want to buy the service again at this better price.
Worth it for us and many others. Maybe not for you.

Home >Profile >Preferences >UPS My Choice® >Edit Membership Preferences
Then open the "Name and Address" drop down, there is a checkbox for "I want UPS to automatically renew my Premium membership."

I set it up so it would automatically "upgrade" all SurePost packages to Ground.
A package was never upgraded, so I started paying more attention and purposely bought something from Target (they *USUALLY* ship SurePost) - 2nd package also didn't go through. I tried fixing on my end and even tried calling UPS. Nobody cared or knew how to fix.
After that package went to SurePost, I triggered yet ANOTHER package and purposely turned OFF "automatic upgrade" to see if that would help. That did not work either.
Finally escalated to UPS corporate via Better Business Bureau.... They had to refund me, since nobody knew what the heck was going on, and they extended UPS MyChoice another 6 months. Literally took several more packages and me toggling "auto upgrade" off and on before it worked again.
Not sure if I'm just unlucky or if anyone else has seen something similar.....
One thing is that packages must match the names or nicknames of your household members on your UPS My Choice account. Otherwise the upgrades won't work.
Fedex pay is lower, fedex employees must contribute towards their healthcare coverage while ups employees do not have to contribute towards their healthcare and fedex retirement plans cannot compare to the teamster pension plan
