It's also mentioned as going out of business in 2017 and then the domain being bought by Wolverine (parent company of Merrell and Sperry), so any reviews before 2017 are irrelevant. The ownership is quite obvious when you see that the same shoes on sperry.com and merrell.com have the exact same reviews, same size availability, and pull images from the same Wolverine backend server.
My definition of scam would be they take your money and don't ship you product. I didn't see any comments like that in the recent SD threads:
