Make this yourself: 1 part borax, 3 parts sugar, slowly add water until honey like in consistency, place near ant issue. you can make tons of it for pennies.
This stuff does work!
Ants are either in sweet or protein cycle and forage for it. You can't tell which one they will go for without trying. That's why often exterminators set up both baits at the same time.
Also spray the perimeter of your dwelling.
That said, terro may work fine for minor infestations provided they are foraging for sweet

I will echo the comments these do work well. They are also relatively safe for humans / pets as they are basically borax and sugar water.

I had high hopes for these when I bought them but unfortunately they wouldn't work for me in my kitchen. I ended up using the Ortho indoor and perimeter stuff and to my surprise it worked

Peanut butter or cheese crumble works well.

These are great, I was able to order more than the maximum, hopefully it goes through for pickup later today! I've done the DIY (including making patterns on the foil where they feed just to see how crazy it gets), but I can't beat the convenience of these.

sure does. but do you know why they go bad in like 6 months even if they are unopeend? i end up tossing half of a 6 pack every year as i only need 3 per year to get em during the peak season. im hoping someone can tell me a way to make them keep longer(freezing, keeping out of sun, etc?)
