Also spray the perimeter of your dwelling.
That said, terro may work fine for minor infestations provided they are foraging for sweet

Should be fine. It will get the ants to move away from your garden and eat the bait out there.
too messy(I assume you meant Borax stuff)
I have better more interesting things to do.
I guess next time I should mine some borax when I camp at Death Valley.
Then again, it might just be a personality defect and you couldn't help it?
Put me firmly in the camp of "I make my own" because, well, I have borax in the house already (for other uses) and while my time is indeed worth something, I'm not so highly or lowly paid - or neurotic - that I need to account for 60 seconds of my time.

Sure hate paying tax on full price though🙃
Advion gel. it's on amazon for 28 for a 4 pack. kills sugar ants in a two days at least, and carpenter ants are a bit more resilient, but can be wiped out in two weeks.
wiped out a really big carpenter ant colony that way. had them coming from my master bath and in the columns on the front porch.
wife wasn't pumped to walk in the bathroom and see 100's of ants feeding on the gel. but they were gone in a couple of weeks.
I was only going to get one but I downloaded the Ace Hardware app and it gave me $5 off of $5.
I ended up paying $1.70.
Like another poster said I don't like paying tax on the full price of the items.
I don't when they started doing that in my state.
I bought a pair of shoes last month that were on sale and I was charged tax on the sale price.
Anyway I'm ready when the ants show up.
A nice tasty treat that they can load up on and take back home and share with their friends and family.
