Creed is on sale via the Daily Deal for Quest 2. Original price is $29.99. I do recall seeing the PC version posted much cheaper recently, but that deal is expired and didn't help folks that don't have a PC that can run VR games.

2 weeks ago it was $4.50 for PCVR through Fanatical/Steam key, which shows how much you can save by having a gaming PC (even an old $500 1050ti laptop like I have here). Plus, Steam is compatible with any headset, not restricted to Oculus. All my old WMR games work great with OQ2 through Steam. Also have to mention the best VR game yet, Half Life: Alyx, which like all the best VR games, requires a PC. And of course, don't need the 256GB version of OQ2, since 64GB is way more than enough, and saves you $100, which can be used for even more on sale steam games. Being this is a deal forum, sorry but had to bring this all up for best deal.

TL;DR: Spend $1000 so you can save 15.49

OP already addressed that the game has been cheaper in Steam/PCVR. Some people actually purchase the quest so they can have portable gaming and not have to be connected to a PC.

SOME people purchase the quest for portable gaming but MOST buy the quest for wireless PCVR. You dont need to spend $1K on a PC to run VR games.

As for the game, I think Thrill of the Fight is the better buy for the quest, and its only $10, not saying Creed is a bad game but I think $20 is still too much.

Skip this game. I got it as part of a bundle and it's pretty terrible compared to thrill of the fight.

I agree with you on price. The Steam PCVR store is way cheaper than the Oculus store.

The problem with Steam VR is that only HTC Vive has a wireless option right now. Wireless is the biggest game changer. It's $300 new, eats up CPU cycles, is heavy, and bakes your head. It gets hot. How do I know? Because I own it.

I also own a Quest 2. For workout games like this, it's vastly superior because it's wireless, light, and doesn't heat your head. It's also $300 for everything vs $1499 for VR ready desktop + HTC headset $999 + HTC Wireless kit $300

How does this game work when you buy it from steam and use airlink?

My son prefers the Oculus version as there is less lag. Even with the link cable he insists the Oculus version runs better (we have Quest 2).
