i've had mine for almost 10 years and it's been a freaking tank. rock solid and takes plenty of abuse. besides its intended uses, i also do stupid stuff like take running jump swings on to the bars and hang upside down and do gravity sit-ups or whatever they are called. at one point i used it to hang a heavy punching bag. paid $80 and would gladly pay that again. a steal at this price.
if i weren't so sure this thing would outlive me, i'd buy another!
So I bought this exact one and have been using it for about 1 year. Here is my complete review:
Reason for buying: Needed to workout at home, since the gym was pretty bad in summer of 2020.
Build Quality: Overall, this has good build quality. After assembly, this is pretty solid. For reference, I am 5'8" and 166 lbs. I wear a 20 lbs weight vest and have done: dips, chin-ups, L-sits and push-ups (inclined) on the equipment with no issues. There is one caveat though, it is kind of wobbly when I do the chin-ups, so take what you will. At 186 lbs, it does feel wobbly at times. Not really a big deal if you have extremely controlled movements, but when you got to get that last rep and you're shaking like a mother****** to raise your head above the bar, yeah it will shake a little bit. Also, if you are above 6', this might be kind of small for you and I would not recommend it. Even at 5'8" I need to bend my legs to do the chin-ups.
Assembly Instructions: This was fairly straightforward and no issues there.
Floor Contact: It has plastic stoppers, but I think since of the sheer weight, please put it on carpet or a mat. I would not recommend to put it on any laminate or hardwood floor just bare.
Also, I got it for $130 Peak pandemic demand at the time.
If anyone else have questions, feel free to ask!
Just what I needed to hang my laundry.

Design and build look flimsy for its purpose. Good if you're on a tight budget and just looking for something. Save up and get a solid piece of equipment if you plan on keeping it for a while.
Anyone have a good recommendation for keeping one outside and not having it rust out due to rain? I have one in my basement but have been looking for one to have outside now that the warm weather is here.

I have it and it is great. Fun fact I am even using it as poor man's squat rack. Literally putting 140lb barbell on the bottom part where your hands supposed to go for dips, since it is soft material barbell is not rolling or anything. I then go underneath the barbell and lift it up just like with proper rack. I am also storing barbell while not using it in the center of this structure just behind that same part I am using as squat rack so it is saving space, easy to take without bending and safe for your leg toes

I'm looking for the same thing, also have a gym in the basement but want to take advantage of the cool weather.
There's a few videos out there of people building their own with some wooden posts, quickrete, and a PVC pipe, but with the insane costs of lumber maybe I will wait on that haha

Yea. I wanted to do the diy last year but managed to stay in the basement until gyms opened. I bit the bullet just now and bought this one. I might spray paint the bottom with some rust oleum spray paint and hope it doesn't rot out.
Now I have to think what to use so that someone won't steal it for scrap metal
Is this really 50" long? That's what the dimensions states but that seems like 20" longer than most power towers on amazon. Working with a limited space in my pseudo gym.

I bought this back in 2016, it's a bit wobbly but I haven't had any issues. But I'm also not a particularly big. I'm 5'7" male, was 190 lbs when I started using this and am now 143 lbs now.
The only other thing I'd mention is that I wish it had a bit more padding on the pull up bar- the part without padding is the part that's exactly shoulder length for me.
