Just search for shoe racks on Amazon and you'll see how not good of a deal this is.
My only issues is the shelves are porous... so if you have wet or dirty/shoes and you put them on the shelf, expect to have drips/dust/dirt on the shoes below it. This is easily fixed of course, you can just get some shelf liner.
Another thing that... isn't really an issue but more of a "could be better" is that if the legs were slightly higher, you could store another row of shoes under it (on the floor). As it is, it's too low- but I added some feet (well- added meaning gorilla glue'd and taped on) and now it's just high enough for sandals on the bottom.
