O.K., so that is not a huge amount of money, but this is the first time I came across a bag charge for pickup.

Edit: Was able to checkout with the coupon using their app. Weird it didn't work via their website for me.

You CAN have the bag fee removed completely if you bring your own bags. Click on the ? next to the bag fee on the cart order summary page. You can show that to the store associate. Since they don't seem to be trained & know how it's done you might have to find the manager.

But I think it's mainly the employees to blame, if you click on the tooltip for the bag fee it reads that the number of bags used can be adjusted upon picking up, they just don't know how in store (or refuse to do it). I brought it up to customer service chat and they credited my account with $0.05 "as a 1 time courtesy" (the fcking nerve) but what I really want is for them to stop doing this and stop forcing waste on me, but not sure what can they do about it. If there's any Walgreens employees out here and are knowledgeable on this, please give us a tip so we can let them know.
