I think the Duracell is made by East Penn, who also make Caterpillar OEM batteries. So these batteries should be good as well

Anybody know if there are any credit card offers that stack w/the $45 gift card below? I had some loaded to Chase or AMEX but they must have expired. I need a car battery ASAP.

I prefer the Duracell. Made in the US by East Penn vs the Costco branded Interstates made by Johnson Controls. I have both in my car along with the Walmart branded ones also made by Johnson Controls. The Johnson Controls batteries were made in Mexico(Costco) and Saudi Arabia (Walmart). All 3 carry a 3 year warranty and are easily replaced. I've never had a warranty refused at any of the retailers. I also went back to traditional lead acid battery over the AGM. I've gone through 2 AGM in AZ. They do not seem to like the hot weather. The lead acid battery has a higher cranking amps in size 34 than the AGM anyways. Not worth the extra $30 for AGM in my area/vehicles. Picked up a size 34 Sam's club for $82 with the sale. Well worth it.

Just bought mine there about 1 month ago.
While I do like that Batteries+ is locally owned, on the Group 34, their price for the equivalent battery is $159 vs $82 at Sam's. You also have to look at the higher priced battery at Batteries+ since their standard battery only has a 2 year warranty @ $139. Either one is way more than the Sam's Duracell.
