The Travelocity and Thrifty Car Rental's "Road Trip of a Lifetime" Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are at least twenty-five (25) years old at the time of entry
answer the following questions:
Which family members do you want to reunite with this summer and why do you want to take them on a road trip of a lifetime? (Answer using 750 characters or less)
Which road trip would you prefer to take – (1) South/Central Texas, (2) Southwest National Parks, or (3) either (Select one)
Each entrant may upload one (1) Entry per person during the Contest Period.
Winner will be determined by a panel of qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion based on the following judging criteria ("Judging Criteria"):
Creativity/Originality
Quality of Submission
Fit to Theme
Prizes: There are two (2) potential Contest Prizes to be won. Each "Road Trip of a Lifetime" is fulfilled as family vacation to tour (1) South/Central Texas, including Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Galveston or (2) a tour of the American Southwest, including Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ, Page, AZ, Kanab, UT and Las Vegas, NV. Each vacation itinerary will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and is subject to change upon availability at time of booking. Either trip is for five days and four nights for the winner and his/her family along with extended family, up to a total of 10 people each (must be legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia). Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each trip: up to $25,000.
The family vacation trip includes domestic round trip economy class airfare for up to 10 people; two SUV Thrifty Car Rentals with insurance coverage for up to 5 days and one driver per vehicle; 1 double-occupancy and 2 quad-occupancy hotel accommodations for four night(s) depending on the number of family members traveling as part of the prize; a $500 allowance for gas; a $500 daily allowance for admission fees; a $1,000 daily allowance for meals; a $300 daily allowance for souvenirs; and up to $1,000 for travel equipment and supplies (i.e., coolers, Instax cameras, etc.). Flight, hotel and car rental will be booked and fulfilled by Sponsor. Allowances will be fulfilled by Visa Gift Cards. Travel must be completed in the month of July 2021. Re-bookings are not allowed. In the event travel is cancelled due to Covid-19, Sponsor may provide a one-time use travel voucher for booking future flight, hotel and car travel. The value of the booking and any part of the trip prize not used is not refundable. Booking is subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by issuer. Certain blackout dates and travel restrictions may apply.
