These are training shoes, which are designed to expand to the sides. Great for wide feet.
A lot of people “train” by lifting weights. Training shoes have extra cushioning for feet to stay in place, especially when weightlifting. Hence these are good for wide, flat-ish feet 🤗

They're very breathable and have good grip, but there's a lot of complaints about the back wall of the shoe digging into the back of your ankle, where the achilles is. Had this issue myself with right one, but the left was fine.

I paid about $60 as a friends and family discount. I'd buy another pair of black to wear to work for $40 though.
I also have some Crossfit type Reeboks I got on a good sale but find almost all the Crossfit sneakers to be thin and non-supportive garbage. I like the flat soles as that is better for your feet than jogging shoes that curl your toes back, ask a podiatrist. 1 told me unless you are jogging stick with flatter soled sneakers.
