It's decent but unfocused and weirdly messes with Geoff's own story lol

This is about the cheapest you'll ever see the hardcover. Pretty good Batman-Joker story with a little Red Hood and Batgirl as a bonus. The art is fantastic.

It's a 2 or 3 star story in 5 star art. Not worth the years of hype at all.

Geoff's Doomsday Clock had the same problems. Interesting premise, but kludgy character work, underdeveloped plot, uneven pacing…

Agreed.

I paid $18.49 for it a few months ago and I was happy with that price. This is a great deal.

I love everything Geoff Johns writes except for this. The premise is great, but the actual story is not. The only thing great about it is the art by Jason Fabok. As others have mentioned it's kind of a mess.

Will this make a good birthday gift for a friend who is a big fan of DC universe?

Dear Geoff Johns: Stop. Just. Stop.

Fabok: Keep doing the Lord's work, my son.

Jason Todd was voted to die, but now Red Hood is super popular since he's basically DC Punisher. Wouldn't be surprised if Outlaws got an animated movie and maybe PC game later.

Enjoyed it but tend to get the original books as they would go up in value as opposed to collected hardcovers.

I assume that as with all things DC, the answer is 'because multiverse'?

If he's into Batman, sure.
