12 mini really turning out to be the slickdeal supreme. I figured it would sell more than it did considering it packs all the same features as the regular 12 and for $100 less.

I think the biggest reason it didn't sell well is the pricing. It should have been 200-300 cheaper then iPhone 12. With only 100 bucks it's hard not to go for the regular 12. Also people who like small phones are not that much. I personally have all three iPhones 12 mini, 12 and 12 pro and I use 12 mini the most. Absolutely love this phone.

For those unfamiliar with Speck -- they're pretty solid. My last 3 cases have all been Speck brand (I buy a new one every time I upgrade my phone). Pretty pleased overall. I generally go for the ribbed ones so my phone doesn't slip out of my hands/pocket.

I actually just filed a warranty claim on one last week where the ribbing was starting to come apart after just a couple of months. Customer service was super responsive ([email protected]) and sent me a link of new cases to choose from, after confirming the original purchase details since I bought off Amazon. I selected a new case the following day, and three days later, the new one was at my door.

Make sure to choose a thin case if you wirelessly charge your phone. Having slots for credit cards and stuff is convenient, but you'll never be able to charge your phone that way. The cases, in my experience, are also super snug. So if you are someone who takes your phone out of its case often, it might be kind of a pain.

Too bad they don't have more colors on sale like blue. My experience with clear cases is they get dirty fast and get darker. The black color is okay, which is the one I got. The blue is best though.
