I almost always get rejected. Whether it's a credit card or even a prepaid visa card. These people are losing so much business. I will try again. Any advice appreciated. Thumbs up. Thanks for posting.

I had the same problem 2 years ago but for the life of me I can not remember what I did to rectify it. Have you tried calling your CC company and Kroger customer service? Maybe they manually advanced the transaction, can't remember, sorry. A lot of people have this issue with this merchant, unfortunately.

How do you even claim these during the checkout process? There is no option to input a gift card code. Trying to claim with the $300 1yr deal.

You will be emailed the redemption code from Kroger. If you're referring to redeeming them through AT&T or Cricket you would redeem them by making an account payment.

have you tried recently. I always got rejected as well but then it just started working about 6 months ago for me!

For me it worked out everytime except last time, when the payment didn't go through, apparently for no good reason. I was using same CR card.

The sales tax kills the deal! Kroger gift cards are the only ones which have add on sales tax! Might just be in TX!

Seriously? Just change your delivery address...must be a TX thing. Since it's emailed, it doesn't matter where you say it's shipping to. I'm in CA and no problem whenever I order these from Kroger or anywhere else, even Target.

This was happening to me with my debit card but not a credit card. I think it ended up being something weird with the billing address I typed in. Like it has to be EXACT.

this is because this is handled by giftcardmall who is crappy. this happened to me often then started working. it's weird
