Sorry- also, I think it rejected my card if I checked out as a guest. Now I always login first.

Did you get charged tax? If you were not taxed what method did you use? Thank you!
I did get charged tax. I'm in NY though, so I expect to be taxed for everything up to and including my morning dump.

No 15% off this year yet, or it will be only 13% from now on?

Not letting me buy more than one.... Not even in separate order. Never had this issue with Kroger in the past.

I placed an order with one card of each amount ($85, $125, $150, $75, $200) at about 6pm. The status is 'Under Review' ever since!

All my previous orders with Kroger went through without any problem. Only this time...

I got charged tax in NY for Att. Last time I bought cricket, no tax. I hate this when they don't confirm taxes before you submit. Not going to buy from them again. There is no tax for Att from Target.

Can u use the AT&T gift card to pay for home internet service? Gift card says wireless only, hence checking with the mass intelligence Smilie

These gift cards are the reason I left cricket. Never mind the trouble with my cc company when ordering, once the gift card balance is almost done, cricket doesn't deduct the balance from the credit card on file. It just put a hold on my account. I was not able to make calls until manually paying the balance and they charged a reactivation fee. I got some credit to offset the fee but this went on for 3 months and they cannot figure out why it was happening. I gave up and left. Too much time wasted.

With Kroger, it will vary by state. (Only .50 e-911 fee for me.) With Target, it doesn't matter which state. Don't know why since both are sold through third party BNS/Blackhawk Network.

Just waisted a whole hour of my time being transferred back and forth until I finally spoke with the right person via Kroger Customer Service. To make a long story short there is no getting around the tax issue if you live in certain states (TX in particular) with Kroger. Even though they will acknowledge that many other sites do not charge tax on prepaid cards, KCS can not and will not "waive" the tax. I don't mind paying the 911 and FCC regulatory fees because I understand that those are government fees which have to be there. I guess this is a slickdeal for those who live in places that are not charged the "tax", but for others like myself this is easily a hard pass. Thanks anyway OP.

Not happening now. Used up the rest of my GC balance last month, and they charged the remaining $50 to my CC on file. Didn't have to do anything.
