these are targeted to the account. So nobody's code will do no good if your account didnt get an email for it. One method to increase your odds of targeted promos is to have multiple groupon accounts. I use the "dot" trick with gmail addresses to have multiple addresses that still go to the same email account. My least used accounts get the most offers. My groupon plus account NEVER gets targeted offers.

FWIW I got the not qualified message also but tried it again with a different vendor/offer which they gave me a $9 discount with the code.

Depends on what category you are considering. I only buy local deals and I have never seen a 50% off coupon in 20 years. For their high priced goods and travel you may get it from time to time.
