But you will want to have the 12ah batts, or the 60v are a pain in the choocher. Plus, the 12ah is a beast to carry around, at 3lbs
They are coming out with a 15ah (it might be out already, idk). But at nearly 5lbs, it's really not worth having when you consider the difference in price/weight added for basically adding 3ah/1.5ah for 20v and 60v respectively. But if using them on say the mower, it might be nice for a bit more weight... but I'm worried a bit about the the connection. Dewalt already has too much play in its tool to battery design. I would love to see a complete overhaul of their tools... but I highly doubt that would happen. I mean, they would rather invest their R&D into 💩💩 items like the Atomics, and a (pretty much worthless) blue tooth + app.
All in all, Dewalt has fallen pretty far these past few years. Certain tools they make are "Must have's" when compared to the same tool from other brands, but at the end of the day, in hindsight, I'd still do fine without their products... they've become more of a DIY/Homeowner type tool, than the unbeatable workhorse they were once known as.
I've actually caught myself buying more bosch since they had the much needed upgrade to their battery platform.
If only there were a tool brand that had all the best of the class tools in their lineup. (Sighs).

The trimmer works fine. I use it on low settings and it cuts just fine. I would probably never use the high setting on it. The blower isnt the strongest but its good enough for me.

In comparison, this deal seems less slick. $100 extra for another battery and a charger no one needs.
