The ProMedia have superior sound quality. But Logitech speakers have great build quality.
06-07-2021 at 10:01 AM
The sound quality is that not much "better" than the Z533. The Pro Media has no on/off/standby switch so its always on.

Logitech - z533 is not THX certified but the Logitech - Z623 is

No. It doesn't have Bluetooth.
You can buy a stand alone Bluetooth adapter to 3.5mm audio jack and use it with the speakers.

Some products will say "May be available In-Warehouse at a lower non-delivered price." I dont see that on this product page.

Yes. The Edifiers sound better than the Klipsch or the Logitech z623 but they need to be off the wall a few inches and sound best with the covers on. I have been using the Edifiers for a couple of years now and really like them. Never thought I would use the remote control that came with the Edifiers but now I do not think I could live without it. The 1280s are the best powered speakers you can get for $100 period.

LOL, sorry to burst your bubble:

from Klipsch forum and tech support:

"Power consumption is less than a LED nightlight. They must remain on when not in use because they go into idle after 15 minutes." https://community.klipsch.com/ind...s-powered/
No power off switch, no stand by mode and the sub draw 16w of electricity. No thanks.
There must be some serious inventory liquidation going on since these have been on sale most of the year via major retailers and the prices are getting lower and lower.

Perfect! I've been waiting for these to go back on sale. My Logitech 2.1 system has started crapping out after many years of working without any issues.

you can try calling customer service. if not, you have 90 days to return it and buy the new one if you really want to.

edit: correction - speakers shouldn't fall under the 90-day electronics return policy, so you should have as long as you want. moot point if you want to take advantage of the sale price, but wanted to point that out. thanks to EdEd1190 for the correction!

These are amazing speakers for the price and size. I had the 4.1 when they still made those and absolutely loved them.

These speakers are not part of "Electronics" 90 day return.

They are part of Costco's "Forever" return policy.

Electronics: Televisions, Projectors, Major Appliances, Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Smart Watches, Cameras, Aerial Cameras (drones), Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones.

Had these for many years. They're great. SUPER loud (way more than necessary for computer speakers). I think my volume is set barely above "min" and at 100% on the Window volume it's too much.

These are fantastic speakers to get into decent audio. They work great for a TV too. I ended up upgrading to some reference premieres but these are a steal for this price.

you have 30 days to get a price adjustment, otherwise you have to play the game. Repurchase and return on the older receipt.
