I have the AMD version (Gen 1) and it is a great machine. Took a little bit of work to open it, but once I removed the screws and the tabs that hold the bottom cover on, I was easily able to replace the HDD and add memory.
IR camera is great - no having to deal with Windows passwords anymore, although it doesn't always pass me if I take my glasses off.
What Quadro buys you is ISV Certification. Lenovo tests the video card/CPU combos to make sure they work with your workstation - see this link for details. https://www.thinkworkstations.com...fications/

Thanks. How is battery life with 4K, 500 nits screen? Is the battery easily replaceable? Looking for a laptop for a college student that needs to last at least 4 years.

If I recall correctly, there was a review of the P14s Gen2 also with the 4k screen and it got about 3-4 hours with a battery test running office work. Even though you can probably last a bit longer with some tweaks, I would pass if you are a college student or anyone who needs a long/decent battery life.
