I did a free trial before and it still worked for 1 month free. Apple music.

I claimed in Target app, they emailed me a redemption code.

I've had Apple tv+ on a free trial for a year (for purchasing a new iPad). It was about to expire in a few weeks. I went in and cancelled, then redeemed the Target offer successfully. Just in time for Ted Lasso season 2 (if you have not watched season 1 you are missing out! The best show to come out of 2020, imo)

Seems like you can redeem through Target for a promo code that expires a year from today without redeeming on Apple right away. Going to try stacking this on my family share plan once our current free trial runs out.

Arcade Added 5 additional months good until dec 2022
I had a month left on Apple TV subscription and didn't let me redeem. I cancelled and was able to redeem 4 months.
Apple Music didn't let me add anything to my current trial.

This works only for folks on free 5GB plan. So maybe you can try downgrade from 50Gb to 5Gb and then redeem this code back to be in 50GB
