There's a sticker in the back covering a screw.
Warranty stickers are unenforceable. Just remove it.

What kind of battery life do you get with normal use?
I only use it plugged in really. The reason I went with a laptop instead of a desktop is so I can play around the house if I want. I played Ark the other night for about 3 hours before the battery died (didn't realize it wasn't plugged in all the way). Not sure about normal use.

To back my assumption, this is an actual review on Amazon:

"Well it's not a bad laptop but it is missing some applications such as the one that controls the backlit keyboard and it is missing some keyboard functionality. Like the sound volume keys not working at all and the brightness keys also not working. Now that I think about it all of the "F" keys don't work or are mapped wrong."
I own this laptop and it comes installed with an application to change the backlit keyboard settings, and all the F keys require a function hold+key input - they definitely work. It sounds like that review is coming from someone that doesn't know how to operate a PC…

Ditto. But it would have been more expensive.
If you go by tray unit price not true, the Ryzen 5 4600h is cheaper then the i5 10300h when it was available at the time. There was a antitrust suit on the intel a while back where they paid kick backs for pc makers to exclusively use intel and combo it with the best GPUs. Which is why you never saw the best of the best with a AMD.

I have this laptop. The software to control the keyboard backlighting is installed. It's the same program that controls the performance mode, fans, etc. Also, on the keyboard, you have to hold the function keys to use the volume keys, as they're on the F1, F2, etc keys.

Well, that and even when AMD was competitive in the past, their mobile CPUs were never as compelling as the Ryzen 4000 and 5000 series. Sustained enough success (combined with Intel pooping the bed on 10nm) that it's finally hard for laptop manufacturers to ignore AMD as a strong mid and high end option.

Nice, add the three year warranty for $85 and you still come out cheaper than new 👍

Got this laptop new for $599 back in late February.

Monitor lid is metal, bottom is plastic. Laptop doesn't feel flimsy.

To get to the inside, 10 small Phillips type screws need tobe removed. Getting to the inside is easy, 10 screws & use a thin gauge guitar pick to slide along in between the chassis' top & bottom half for prying open.

Inside: 2 x m.2 form factor slots; 2 x RAM slots.

Back: USB-C (charge + data, no video signal); HDMI port; 2 x mini-display ports.
Left side: ethernet port; USB-A 2.0; mic input; headphone output.
Right side: 2 x USB-A 3.0 ports; micro SD port.

The monitor can be overclocked to 144Hz using CRU. For me ~90-95% of the laptop's usage time, it's hooked up to an external 32" IPS monitor for work.

Here are pics when I upgraded the original m.2 SSD & RAM to 16gb with 2 x Crucial sticks.

IMO, this is a solid laptop & excellent value for my purposes.

Non-soldered, so both RAM slots can be upgraded if needed.

Does it come with 2 x 4 GB RAM or 1 x 8 GB. Also can you have 1 x 8 GB and 1 x 16 GB?

Laptop came with one generic 8GB stick; the SSD was also some generic brand. Yeah you can have the RAM configurations you mentioned. I think the laptop can support up to 64 GB RAM but I could be mistaken.
