I've been tracking this laptop for a bit and finally it's on sale. It's not as good as prior $599 front page deal but $649 is not bad. Also easy returns from Walmart.

"Well it's not a bad laptop but it is missing some applications such as the one that controls the backlit keyboard and it is missing some keyboard functionality. Like the sound volume keys not working at all and the brightness keys also not working. Now that I think about it all of the "F" keys don't work or are mapped wrong."

Monitor lid is metal, bottom is plastic. Laptop doesn't feel flimsy.
To get to the inside, 10 small Phillips type screws need tobe removed. Getting to the inside is easy, 10 screws & use a thin gauge guitar pick to slide along in between the chassis' top & bottom half for prying open.
Inside: 2 x m.2 form factor slots; 2 x RAM slots.
Back: USB-C (charge + data, no video signal); HDMI port; 2 x mini-display ports.
Left side: ethernet port; USB-A 2.0; mic input; headphone output.
Right side: 2 x USB-A 3.0 ports; micro SD port.
The monitor can be overclocked to 144Hz using CRU. For me ~90-95% of the laptop's usage time, it's hooked up to an external 32" IPS monitor for work.
Here are pics when I upgraded the original m.2 SSD & RAM to 16gb with 2 x Crucial sticks.
IMO, this is a solid laptop & excellent value for my purposes.
