Good specs for price except for dim monitor and the weight (which comes with a dedicated GPU)

How's this compared to a mobile 1060 6gb. Looking to purchase for my son but I want something with a better GPU than my rig.

I'm probably just wait then and get it for xmas instead of his birthday. Waiting for Bitcoin/alt coins to go even lower since everything is opening up already.

Haha maybe the hinge and the screws holding it all together. It's pretty cheap feeling textured plastic my girl has last year's model same chassis with a 1660ti and 10300h, only difference is she has the omens 300nit and 144hz

If you get ghost white without backlit keys is 629.99. Also 2x4 on the ram sticks but 12gb for 40 more is 8gb and 4gb.

Truthfully, I don't have much of a problem with plastic as long as it's built well. I have some 10+ year old plastic laptops around that still in decent shape.

The hinge on these HPs are known to have some issues. Have to baby them, always open screen from center, or they can crack/snap over time. Just FYI.
