Seriously --- but, I believe in truth in advertising, so left the price the same... but to be fair, even at $148, it's STILL about $30 cheaper than the recent XM3's that are actually still FP or Popular right now. I believe this is the all time low for new XM3 buds... even @ $148, let alone $128.
These have good ANC and sound but are bulky AF and so is the case. The XM4's just launched and are much smaller, but at $280 msrp.. Just be aware of how big these things are before you buy, as its like a micro bluetooth headset from a decade ago, its not discrete at all. If you dont need ANC, there are smaller cheaper IEMs like Buds+ that are highly regarded and trade blows.

Appreciate the honesty. I would not change it.

As for WF-1000XM3, these are solid earbuds for music. They are ok for calls. You will have to get better ear tips as the stock ones are not good and will cause these to fall out often. Most likely, you will spend the $20 on the eartips.

What do you think is a better buy, these for essentially $128 or the "renewed" version of these for $80 [amazon.com]? Even if the renewed ones perform just as well as the new ones, I worry about the battery life of a used electronic product like this which would essentially lower it's life span? Is it worth about $50 more to pay for the brand new ones?

I have the Jabra Elite 65Ts and think they are amazing. Are these that much better in sound quality? (excluding the noise cancellation feature, of course)

Also, with the new XM4s out now, do you expect these to drop in price even further? or is this about as good as we're gonna get in price? (both the brand new and renewed ones)

They are not good for exercising. You'll lose them on bike rides. They are ok for walking and lounging.

Get a set of dedicated "active" earbuds that are held more tightly in your ears.

The WF-SP800N are more or less the sport equivalent of these. Longer lasting battery, stronger bass and have earwings which help secure in your ear. Orange ones are $78 right now - https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B087N...m_5_i&th=1

I have this earbud for a while now and it sounds very good. I can use one side and charging the other side so I can be on call all day. It's a little bulky but stay on very well. The only complain that I have is that occasionally, the call on zoom sounds very bad, sometime turn on and off the headset fix but sometime it doesn't. Some time other people complaining that my voice got distorted or something. If you use this for music, then it works great. If you use it for calls or meeting, you might run into some problem.
