No it's not. LPDDR4X Memory mainly used in very thin and light laptops as it's smaller and consumes less power. It also can run at higher speed which mainly helps the integrated GPU. But it's always soldered. For bigger gaming laptop like this with dedicated GPU, DDR4 is fine and provide flexibility for upgrade.

Amex still has their spend $599 get $120 back. Plus a bunch of other cards have 5% cash back at dell right now
