Just a word of caution regarding the force feedback. The G920 and this one should never feel like one is stronger than the other. If you feel that this TMX is stronger, it is because you are clipping the force feedback and overworking the wheel and reducing its lifespan. What is clipping? Clipping is basically the point where you reach the maximum force feedback that the wheel can interpret from the game before all future force feedback data is lost. Basically, if you are taking a turn, you want the force feedback of your wheel to feel the greatest when the car/tires are experiencing the greatest forces in game. For clipping wheels, the maximum force feedback will be reached quite early in the turn, meaning that literally everything else (let's say you go over a kerb hitting the apex) will feel the same as the clipping point. This in turn means not only that your wheel is overworking, but also that you are losing wheel sensitivity and won't be able to react to what is actually happening at the racing surface. You can begin to lose traction and you will not realize it since it will feel exactly the same as if you were simply braking or your normal turn. This is something that usually gets ignored when configuring a wheel for a game and it is definitely a must if you want to maximize the lifespan of your wheel and have the most authentic experience in games.

On the opposite, if you feel one is weaker than the other, it could be that one is configured incorrectly in the game to have less force feedback, meaning you never reach the clipping point and all data values are now reduced to a tinnier portion of the capability range of the wheel. That will cause you to not feel enough what is going on with the car, similar to clipping, but instead of your wheel overpowering all future data, it is underpowered now and it will feel like no matter what happens, the wheel feels featherlike.

Basically, make sure you calibrate for clipping so that the maximum force feedback you get from the wheel occurs when your car is experiencing the highest Gs under normal driving conditions. (obviously it will clip if you are crashing into a wall, just like in real life, lol).
The PS4/PS5/PC version T150 is the same price right now aswell. T150 also has 1080 Degree Rotation vs the 900 this offers. Great if you only play PC and PS5/PS4. I'd rather get that for when Gran Turismo 7 comes out. https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmast...th=1&psc=1

Was able to get at my local Best Buy in DE for no taxes. I am no pro and so this with force feedback is exactly what I have been wanting for a long time.

Isn't it better to play Forza with a controller? I heard these are only optimal for real life simulators like Gran Turismo.
No, I know a lot of people that play Forza with wheels. You just have to get the settings right and it helps to have a shifter and ebrake too.

As an actual pro player currently competing at the highest level (LateShift) and as someone with over half a decade competing in the pro Forza scene, you are wrong. Forza is better played with a controller if you want to be competitive. Wheel is only faster in ovals in Forza. With that being said, wheel is very fun if you just want to play casually and for fun.

Cool? All pmperry said was that they "know a lot of people that play Forza with wheels". How can that be wrong? They didn't say that a wheel would be equally competitive at the highest levels. Neither of you clarified if you meant Forza Horizon or Forza Motorsport, so you may also be talking about different games.

Yeah, I think that's what they meant - that once you "get the settings right" it's a valid, enjoyable way to play Forza.

I was looking to buy. Is it just me or are they only available used? Or am I not finding the right link? I don't like getting used controllers. Thanks.

Correction. I figured it out. Thanks.

What's a good arcade driving game for this? My kids love driving games but I think the true simulation driving games might be too hard for them. Kids are 7 and 8.

Yeah I never Implied anyone was playing it professionally, but I wouldn't be surprised if some people tried it and even succeeded doing it.

Ordered from bestbuy instead.

Same price and it's already shipped. Amazon said end of July.

They had the Xbox flight stick in stock to for flight simulator next month. Been looking for months for that.

The new turtle beach or bay brand one for $350 looks nicer but I'll bet it's gonna be hard to get and not sure if I want to spend that much.
I used a cheap Logitech stick on my older pc and it makes it alot more fun.

my 9yr has mostly been able to drive forza horizon 2 using a controller for the last almost 2 years.... soooo tempted to blow some covid moneys on this or the g923 set.

Ah got it! Sorry I'm very new to sim racing and using ffb wheels. Would you recommend turning down the gain to eliminate clipping?

I snagged that lightning deal ($285) and got an extra $30 off from Discover card.
Then the wheel got damaged during shipping, Amazon refunded the money rather than replace, and now it's significantly more expensive. Amazon will not honor the original price, and the current price was all the way up to $384 before it sold out today. Not too happy.
Shiet mine was Damaged too during shipping smh
