Come on man, is your health, and health care costs associated with a failure at full speed worth it? Not trying to preach, but the answer is NO. Get a new one, or have it fixed properly.

I'm an experienced cyclist and have extensive bike maintenance experience, not scooter experience, but you are asking for a major problem. Wise up. Think about your safety.
Got one at $99 on the thanksgiving slickdeal. It's pretty decent, definitely won't get the rated distance on it but fun to zip around the neighborhood or a campsite on
biased much bruh, air tires are way better. you chose to pick out the more difficult way to change it but disregard the many more benefits compared to crap solid tires. BRUH

I've had both and can comment on both. My Xiaomi m365 had air and they were an absolute bitch to replace when I got a flat in the rear tire. I had put in a can of slime and also tire liners but it still took 1.5 hours, and 3 sets of tubes to replace. First two times, during the install, I musr have punctured the tube cause it wasn't until the next day when it went flat again. Major pain.

I traded in the m365 for a refurb Bird ES4 with solid tires. The ride absolutely sucks. Feel my teeth jangling around in my head. Front suspension is worthless and bottoms out on every small bump.

That said, I kept the Bird and sold the m365. Why? Cause I hated changing the flat so much. Now though, the tread is wearing thin on my Bird solids. I gotta imagine the chore of changing that is even worse than the air.

I bought last time (around a year ago) when it was on sale for $149. Use it as my daily rider to go around. The only complaint is that the frame cracked at the bottom where the vertical part is connected to the horizontal bar with battery. Am still using it since it's not falling apart but it's definitely not safe at all.

Thank you for your concern. It's just my mentality. I'm from the country where these type of issues are not issues at all Smilie
The point is that you get what you pay for. The frame is aluminum and fragile. Get broken up pretty easily. Especially if your weight is 200 lbs and more. Plus bumpy roads pay role in that too.

Aluminum frame with damage is EVEN worse. Steel will buckle, bend and not lose strength, Aluminum will actually break, suddenly. I get what you're saying - it's par for the course in your country, but take care of yourself. I've been in several cycling accidents (none of them my fault), and they left lasting damage. Don't screw yourself.

I had this for a year before throwing it away.
  1. The tire went flat and the valve on the tire keeps getting pushed in as I'm trying to use the pump. I found no way to pump it.
  2. After about 5 months of usage, battery went crap. Full charge gave me about 2 miles. Gauge will show only 1 bar loss, but you can drastically feel the loss of power. It will start to struggle on the slightest of uphill. Thankfully, my commute usually was 1 mile each way. I had to charge it after every trip.
  3. The rod that has the handle and where it folds is very flimsy. It will shake violently as you ride. I was afraid it will snap at some point.
  4. The accelerator lever will get stuck more often than you will like. It's easy to flick it out of it but then again, it's a safety issue
Above are some issues I had off the top of my head that I had before throwing it away.

Air ride is much better, I have both,! First X scooter I bought, the motor went bad in 3 weeks, sent it back, refunded by Walmart 30 day money back.

I probably was lucky since the battery is still good like it was when I bought it. It drives 9 miles, no questions. The only thing I noticed was that it gradually loses its power after 50% of battery charge. But that was like that from the very beginning.

I got a hover 1 a couple of years ago and it was my daily to the mailbox ride. Was a relaxing part of the day and I loved it. Ended up getting a thorn in tire and left it at the bike shop a year ago. Was a quality product then.

I had purchased the black Friday sale from 2019 rated at 15 mph and 16 mile distance. The rated distance is only if you on speed level 1 which is maxed at like 9 mph and on smooth leveled roads. When I go 15mph it will realistically go about 9 miles before it needs to charge. So this model going max speed will probably only get about 5 miles. I've never had an issue with the tires. I'm still using them. Have filled it 2 times and that's about it. I had the charger replaced under warranty. The company sent me 1 quick.
