What is the cheapest way to get this with att? If it will cost another $80 in 60 days before you can get out of their shackles, then not better deal than amazon one.

oh yea if you strictly want this unlocked, this would not be a better deal than the prime day amazon deal. The cheapest qualifying plan costs $50/mo for single line and added activation fee of $30, it'd be $130, 60 days, and a credit pull before you can unlock it.

this is for those who is already on AT&T, maybe a grandfatherd plan, plans to be with AT&T for the next 12 months or so, and would not want to spend $470 for any phone immediately. One can sign up for this, pay $11.11/mo until Black Friday, pay off the $400 (most likely $344.45 by then), trade in for some high end phone (hopefully the value would be $500 if combined with a plan upgrade too). If one doesn't wish to change their plans and causes the trade-in to be around or less than $400, one still got 5 months use of a phone for <$100.

All of these comments are (unfortunately or not) valid. Some users have significant and unresolved issues with the touch screen touch issues. Some had them resolved with the associated patches that have been deployed. And then other users have never experienced the issue (so far I am fortunate to be in the latter category).

This is a fine price for a good phone for Samsung enthusiasts on AT&T. Overall I'd recommend holding out for the next upgrade option (especially as #3 AT&T is likely to be generous). On my in-laws' two AT&T lines I recently traded in two Note 5 phones to get two S21 phones. I suspect the S21 FE will be comparable if not even more generous (given that the S21 FE is expected to be even more cost-reduced).

Good luck!

If I was with ATT, I'd still buy the unlocked version for 80 bucks more (not now, after Prime Days) and switch to $30/month unlimited Mint.

Mint uses T-mobile's network which absorbed Sprint and offers the most coverage for 5G which is a large part in why one would want to use this phone:

As such the network itself is the fastest in real world usage: https://www.tomsguide.com/news/t-...ults-claim

I'm a MKBHD fan, but you also have to take into account he didn't use it as a daily driver like people who have issues with it do.

Can't discount people's issues based on someone's review when the reviewer doesn't use it much more than a couple of weeks.

Also, my wife has this phone. No issues. She is not a power user, only uses a few apps.
But it's silly to say someone else is wrong when they have issues.
