Can you wash the filters in the C545? Or maybe brush them off if you can't "wash" them?

Just ordered this model to filter out secondhand smoke from elderly cigarette-smokng neighbor.
The 5500 used a carbon pellet filter while the C535 uses a cheaper carbon-strand filter that's similar to a Brillo pad.
Said carbon pellet filter is absolutely superior to the C535, but it's also much more expensive. I actually own both, while it appears the quoted guy is just making stuff up. That, or they never look at their own equipment. Either way, they're a useless source.

I like the Wifi personally... what's the point of running it in a room if you're not in it for several hours?
