Costco has since put it on sale for $750 off, making it $1699.99, with two additional promotions running.

Costco Item 1437072 - https://www.costco.com/samsung-28...46975.html

If you use a Costco Citi Credit Card you will both get the usual additional warranty coverage for 4 years, as well as a $300 Costco Cash Card. This also qualifies for the 10% off when you buy four Samsung Kitchen Appliances promotion.
I was able to get a price adjustment on it since I was within the return period.

Additional year warranty included - Extend to 3 or 4 years by using Sapphire Reserve or Citi Costco Visa, respectively, though in the last posting someone stated that Sapphire may not cover refrigerators with a water/ice maker hookup
Free delivery, hookup, and haul away
The usual Costco awesomeness

A quick glance at Samsung.com, Best Buy, Lowes, shows the same prices as my last post everywhere else:
Home Depot - $2518.00 - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Samsu.../312902659
Best Buy - $2519.99 - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sams...Id=6402437
Samsung.com - $2519.99 (~$2343 Military) - https://www.samsung.com/us/home-a...6221sr-aa/
Lowes - $2299.99 after $500 tiered savings. Not Military discount stackable. Home Depot would only match one or the other, and often neither. - https://www.lowes.com/pd/Samsung-...5000316847

That's a really good deal. But Samsung fridges are supposed to be awful. Even with a warranty covering the issues it's still a big headache.

Just the icemaker bought several over the years because of deals like these and each one has had icemaker issues there is a manual defrost that helps but plan on doing it weekly

"Supposed to be" does not sound like you have any personal experience with them, so if you have something more objective to share, please post it before unnecessarily scaring people off. While you may be right, I have never personally seen any consumer alerts to the effect except for the issue many years back with ice makers in select models, which they corrected. Anecdotally I can say that every single person I know save for one has a higher end Samsung fridge without ever reporting any problems - and we do talk about these things. I personally have three between my houses as old as 5 years without a single issue, and no maintenance beyond the standard water filter changeout and (not as often as I should) coil vacuuming.

Avoid like the plague. Will fail within 5 years. I have a Samsung French door fridge purchased in 2015/2016 for $2499. Cooling system has failed in the flex drawer and freezer. Samsung sucks at making appliances:

I am fighting to get money back via the FB group above. I had 2 failures with the fridge freezing over and the ice maker leaking within 5 years. Samsung is junk.

I can speak from experience. I went through two Samsung refrigerator in 3 years. Never again... My buddy's Samsung died in less than 2 years. You guys are buying for all this tech, but when they fail....

You've got to set the temperature correctly, and make sure you clean out around the coils and fan. Ice build up from freeze thaw creates all kinds of issues. These fridges don't last like they used to. 20+ years was typical. Now they're lucky to go 7-10 years. Build in chip obsolescence. Wink

Yeah, mine was bought back in 2015 or so and I've had to replace the ice machine. It has started acting up AGAIN. Sometimes it makes ice and sometimes it don't. I think it's a sensor issue. I can make ice manually in it and it will dump it, but when the arm comes down to check the level, it doesn't seem to register properly and will not refill. It is frustrating. The area/compartment that holds the water filter broke and caused water to leak each time I changed the filter (and got worse). Finally ($90 dollars later), I changed it myself and now it works fine. Lots of broken shelves in the door (we don't have kids). I've replaced two at $35 a piece and need another. The ice bucket is breaking at the top (both 'clips' have broken), I'll soon have ice all over the floor. Have no idea why they snapped. It was one and then later the other. We do not touch it. Must be all that ice it's making Roll Eyes (Sarcastic).

Only one experience, but I've had my Samsung 4 door fridge from costco since 2017 and only had 1 issue which I admit was my own fault but the costco warranty had a repair man in within 2 days (I'm in NYC so it might be faster since I'm in a major area). They fixed it within 5 minutes at no charge. No issues ever since. Great fridge, never had anything freeze over in the fridge.

Have a newer high end Samsung fridge. Fridge is fine, the icemaker inside the fridge compartment freezes over and gets stuck every 2 weeks. Avoid.
