which earned me two $300 costco cash rebates
and i will buy a $240 phone over 24 months that
they credit back the monthly so the phone is free*.
a few tips i discovered for people doing this;
- make sure with t-mobile billing you are on auto pay
or you may be billed $10 extra per month.
- some in-costco can only assign a random number
but if you call t-mobile you can get a number from
a list from any area code you like, and they can waive
the $15 fee they usually charge for doing this... just say
you bought via a contractor who could not set this up.
- do not submit your rebate form till after you are with
that final phone number, and don't mix up whatever
that final phone number is with a different IMEI number.
- make sure you start the "free phone" purchase* 31 days
after activation, otherwise you'll lose the $300 costco card.
disclaimer - this offer is valid now, but if it's not in 31 days
then you're out of luck, so don't solely depend on this.
T-MOBILE 4G LTE SPEED
T-Mobile has a reputation for performing well in metropolitan areas,
although its speed is known to drop indoors.
Average download speed 23–24 Mbps
Average upload speed 16–17 Mbps
"Keep the phone you love with zero cost to switch" promotion
* 90 days if you are porting the same Tmo # back
Otherwise if you are just doing the Costco byod $300 you could just create a eligible port # and port same day this is why folks just buy a port number off ebay, if you want to use this number you can have your carrier change the phone number and port right back in; if you don't change the number Tmo will recognize as one of their own numbers was ported back and forth I see you

Q for you BP are you doing this port in/out on a multi line plan or are you opening a brand new account and closing it out. IF it's a older multi line plan where you port in/out 2 lines every 3 or so months how has it affected your pricing and other promos since Tmo states you cannot port out or cancel a bogo line, how often have you done this, and have you lost any older promos?

If I port over a new number will I now be ineligible because number doesn't match?
If my device imei doesn't match when they verify in 14 weeks will I lose eligibility then?
TIA.
Plan is to activate 2 lines at Costco and ask TMobile to add "line on Us" promo on one line.
