update, ordered three cards. all cards came within three minutes. have since then applied all three to amazon account balance. have already gotten confirmation that all three cards have been applied to my account.
Needed to spend $500 to wrap up a credit card promo, so this was a nice money maker for me.

Ordered it - never got confirmed. Tried an account, just sits there freezing. I don't understand why companies run promotions like this so that new customers can see what a crappy operation they are.

Any luck?? I'm dealing with the same BS right now. Waiting on a callback from a supervisor.

They denied me stating the promo was only 7/2-7/4 and that I'm not eligible. I stated that it worked through 7/5,. Then said even if it wasn't, I agreed to a specific price at the point of paying and I was charged $75 more, which is never acceptable.

If they don't find some form of compensation, even if it's in the form of a credit, I'll be doing a charge back.

You should try contacting them again. After the third attempt and failed call back they promised I was able to speak to a guy who verified the promo was indeed active on the 5th and that they just need to have the "back office" approve it and I'll get an email and a $75 refund within 3-5 business days.

Responses by rep seem to really vary. Suffice to say as a whole their service sucks. Be persistent.

The rep I talked to said the promo was for $7.50 discount on a purchase of $75 gift card, and that's why apparently my order was charged the full amount!! What a fool. But thankfully they refunded my entire transaction so I'm done with this company. Nothing lost except a chunk of time.
