Obviously real.

Just because they used the Alibaba Cloud service registrar, does that mean they are owned by Alibaba? Seems to me that is just another registrar service like Godaddy. Whatever the case (as I am not a pro with Whois lookup info), trust logic. Anything you might possibly get shipped won't be what you hoped for.

AFAIK, prices on wish are consistent with Alibaba, but you aren't grabbing authentic expensive designer stuff for that cheap anywhere, other than some fluke. Both are fine for misc stuff. What example are you talking about on wish? The Chinese sites are notorious for knock-offs that can pass pretty well sometimes. I see people listing new ipod pros all day long for $40 range on FB Marketplace. Who would expect the real ones? Suckers.

Anyone dumb enough to bother with buying $40 ipod pros from some rando would be unlikely to figure out they were fakes. Their greed and naivete already took over their brain.
P.S.
I hope you are not thinking FB has anyone's back.
Keep in mind there is no ID required to fake a FB profile. You can be anyone you like and get their picture too. People are always making up fake duplicate FB profiles and trying to fool people into talking to them and friending them for some ulterior motive.
Next, the meet up is typically somewhere neutral. You would never see them again. Suppose they drive there, and you get their REAL plate number because they are dumb enough not to steal some plate. Police won't get involved. Neither FB nor the FBI will track them by IP address to help you find them.
Let's suppose you find them. Great!
Next, it's your word against theirs in small claims court and they're presumed innocent. I mean over the (relatively) small change you are out for the scam, the court fee costs maybe $40?. You are already only in it to try to prove a point. They won't pay your filing fees if you win either.
Next, if you win your case, you still can't get blood from a turnip. No enforcement. I had a person file BK and threw me in on it after they paid me a few payments on a judgment I got worked out after taking them to court. They only owed me a couple hundred or so. I just had to write it off.
