Windows 11 later this year, free upgrade for Windows 10 users. Windows 11 gonna require TPM 2.0 support from what I read a week ago, not sure if that has changed since it was causing alot of confusion. Anyone know if this computer already has TPM 2.0 on it? I couldn't find it in the specs listed.

On Dell's website it says all new computers they sell support Windows 11 so I guess it should be fine.

Great machine for browsing and office work, if anything consider adding another slot of 8GB ram later when it's on sale. I bought one for my family couple months ago for the same price

OEMs have been required by Microsoft to support TPM for quite a while now. You shouldn't have to worry about that.

Yeah, Microsoft has a whole list of Windows 11 compatible CPUs and anything Intel 8th gen or higher is supported. There is some testing done on some 7th gen chips but this desktop will be supported as it is 10th gen.

Anyone know if the vga and HDMI port will allow for 2 outputs ? additionally can one add a pci1x vid card for possibly 3/4th output ? I know some OEMs will disable onboard video if a discreet is added.

thank you to anyone with input.

Compatible doesn't mean that your system has TPM. What I mean is that OEMs like Dell have been required by Microsoft for a few years to have and enabled TPM and Secure Boot to sell Windows PCs. That's why this one is guaranteed to have it from the get go.

Definitely right, however, most TPM modules are built into CPUs, and there can be cases where the motherboard's bios needs to be updated to support it. This is where your statement comes in, but let's be real, everyone is bummed about the requirements for a new os. All it leads to is more and more ewaste.
