You can make one for cheap, I find a window or a pane of glass the right size for sale used on facebook market or craigslist or just sitting outside, and spray paint one side, I typically use white but you can use any color you can get your hands on. The non painted side will be fine for dry erase markers. The last one I made, I laid down a 7 column and 6 rows with thin strips of duct tape to make a perpetual calendar, where you can plan up to 6 weeks in advance and every 2-3 weeks you just erase the past dates and use it to plot future dates, just alternate 2 colors for each month. I personally think I get better results and sometimes cheaper than even dry erase surfaces you apply directly to the wall.

We actually just use a regular frameless mirror, and we put dry erase markers next to it. Does it look as sharp as this? Definitely not. But it's about 1/3 the price if you're looking for a cheaper option!

We also keep dry erase markers by the bathroom mirrors. You never know when inspiration will strike!

I have a black board now. Looks nice with the right kind of dry erase marker. Had the frosted one through Quartet as well. Loved it.

I have a Quartet one and its flimsy, bent, and the marker tray falls once-in-a-while. Other than that it...works

For black glass I recommend liquid chalk so you can really see it.

The final price is reflected in total -- on desktop, it's on right.

I use the "Audio Visual-Direct" brand and they work better than this or Quartet.
