For example, my friend bought a recertified monitor from NE directly (not a 3rd party seller which is a whole different problem). The description promises it will work and comes with monitor and power supply. When it arrives, there's no power supply, and it needs a weird one, not your standard 3 prong cord. NE insists that recertified monitors MAY NOT come with a power supply even though the description explicitly lists one.
Another example, a computer illiterate friend decided to buy a NE PC bundle that claims to have everything you need to build a PC. That bundle included a nice motherboard with an intel socket and an AMD CPU . . . one of these things is not like the other.
I will say, I've bought from them over the years and never had a problem, but I only buy new, use my Capital One, and do my research beforehand.

Personally, I have a mix of Q-See and Reolink POE cameras over the years and just using ZoneMinder with zones and object detection (YOLOv4 with OpenCV), much more flexible and accurate, but it does require certain technical understanding.
EDIT: the Amazon link should have a $110 coupon, bringing the price down to $330 from $440.

The bottom line is, will the NVR pick up the cameras on my network? If the POE cameras are not directly connected to the NVR?
Thanks SD community!
