For those who plan on grilling raw meat, especially on the bone (like chicken, beef, pork) don't bother. You will still need the oven to get it to cook at the proper temperature. It can handle seafood pretty well and vegetables though. Just get the butane tabletop grills so you can cook your meat to the proper temperature.

I'm looking for a good indoor grill. If anyone has a good one to suggest I'd like to hear it 🙏
I got this one about a year ago. Very happy with it. Usually cooking steak on it. The sear function really works. I'll put the steaks on sear for 2 minutes per side and then turn it down to med-hi to finish them off. You can throw the whole thing in the dishwasher too (minus the cord of course). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1
My parents have one that's similar (maybe larger version with a cover?) that they got for $50 at Sam's. It's not great. Takes a while to heat up and a while to cook as well. It doesn't smoke, but you're probably better off cooking on the stovetop.
Had the pro version and it was awful. Doesn't get hot enough, little to no browning on meat, and lots of hot/cold spots across the board. Don't waste your money.

Bought this before pandemic. Not all surface hot. Mostly in the middle. Good for basic Korean BBQ. If you to cook steak, good luck. It takes long time.
Got an older model from walmart, BF $50. Thought we would use it a lot during winter for steaks and such. Takes just as long as popping something in the oven and clean up kind sucks. It is our least used gadget. I do like it for grilled chicken when doing salad dinners.
