I'm thinking this tent might fit three in sleeping bags or two on a queen air mattress. Per reviews, this seems to be a quality tent that needs two people for set-up. The price is slick, IMO.

Note though they make it look like a backpacking tent, at 14lbs its no where near being one especially considering it does not have a rain fly

Yeah this is definitely more of a car camping tent. You're not lugging this though the woods... Nope.

Each person is assumed to have about 25 inches of width, and 7 feet tall. That's enough to lay down. Not enough for a twin size bed.

So by that, a 3 person is approx 7x7 tent.

That's how 99% of tents are measured.
Including 4 or 6 person tents. Or 2 person tent.
