Quote from BuyMoreChuck :
I have an older TP-Link 16 port GB speed unmanaged one. I am running out of ports, but 16 is still fine. Is this worth the upgrade or wait for something better? My DSL is only 50MB max.
Gigabit speed is for your internal network. If you host your own file or media server you'll have plenty of internal traffic to deal with. And if you're close to maxing out the 16-port switch I'd go for an upgrade while the price is good.
