Shark > dyson in terms of reliability IMO.

After 3 dysons that failed my two sharks have done admirably for years. Filters so cheap on Amazon too , generics

This deal was around before and I was on the fence and decided to buy the DuoClean when Kohl's had the 40% off coupons (which looks like now those are all going away). The only problem with Shark's are the cords are typically short and the hose is short causing them to fall over all the time. I actually modified my older Navigator and added a second hose so now my hose will stretch 20 feet up the stairs. That solved my problem. If I didn't already have the DuoClean, I would most likely have bought this one because so many positive reviews. Plus the replacement filters are cheap on Amazon.

Read through thread and seems hair can be dealt with by leaving vacuum run a little longer after finishing job.
Don't really understand why some prefer a refurb for $9 less. I must be missing something.

Love seeing this deal come back cause I think it's worth it. Picked it up on BF, truly one of the best if not the best vacuum I've ever had— this is coming from an owner of two dogs and a cat. The suction is really strong, clean up is easy, and the filter is washable. It has Jus enough swivel, not too heavy, and a long cord. If I had to nitpick I wish the cord was automatically stored, and there was more swivel to it. Super small criticism tho.

It's still fairly loud, louder on carpet mode. FWIW tho it's a lot quieter than any older vacuum I've had.

Needed one and after watching vacuum wars on YT, definitely wanted a "sealed" one with HEPA filters.

bought this one from the last black friday deal.
at that time, there is also anther Shark deal from Amazon in the similar price ~$100 range different model number. End up cancel the amazon and keep this one because of the self-clean roll, which is huge plus for me.

pretty happy with this purchase and the warranty of 5 years is also great
