Its not even an XR, only the batteries are XR. This is old tech....400 ft-lbs in a huge form factor.

They may of included wrong pictures because all of the brushless tool have a "brushless" stamp. These pictures do not as well as nothing noted in the description.

Dewalt website does not mention brushless, but Lowes says it is brushless. I personally would believe the manufacturers website / owners manual description of the product specs. This seems to be an honest mistake from the OP, not sure about the misleading information from Lowes.

2x4ah batteries: $179
Charger: $36-80
Sockets: $45

With these prices listed above, the tool is basically free at $230+tax for everything.
I personally think this is a good deal for a homeowner that needs a cordless impact wrench for a project or two and doesn't have anything (tool/battery/sockets)

I just gave my own post a thumbs down lol.

Not sure if I'm canceling the deal though because of the batteries and sockets and I would just use this occasionally anyway

I have those sockets. They're great. But everything else is old gen tech. You can definitely do better and those sockets will go on sale. I picked mine up a few weeks ago on sale. I think on Amazon. You'll love em when you get em.

I'm keeping the order to argue the advertisement when I pick up. Plus I got an extra 10% off military so maybe ok for the batteries, sockets and a drill I'll occasionally use to rotate tires

Glad I kept this order. I went to pick up and told them the drill delivered wasn't the advertised Brushless XR so they gave me the Brushless XR DCF899M1
