Never had a problem with Webroot. It consistently ranks up with Bitdefender and Kaspersky at the top of antivirus. It has a much smaller footprint than those two, which isn't a big deal to modern computers, but if you have an older machine
One thing to note, if you buy this or any other version of Webroot, turn off autorenewal. It renews at like $70 which is insane, you can always find a sale on it.

I don't like Bitdefender which uses a lot of memory resources and eSet NOD32 used a little. How about memory usage in Webroot?

So if I order this, I am committing to auto-renewal?????????????
If so, how do I turn auto-renewal off?
If I buy it twice from Amazon, can I use the second one in two years when the first one expires?

You're not committed to autorenewal. A month before subscription expires, you start getting annoying notifications about renewing. I uninstall the old webroot, then do a clean install with new activation code- the one time I entered a new activation code without doing a re-install I continued to get renewal messages for a while.
I can't be certain about answering your second question. I've activated a code 6 months after buying, but never two years!

If I buy it now, can I wait to install and activate Webroot for several months until my Norton subscription ends and then install Webroot and will I still get two years? Or does the two years start from the date of purchase?

From Amazon reviews, Webroot response to question "can i buy it today and install it in two months when my current antivirus expires (Bit Defender)? will i still get 1 year from installation date?"
Yes, you can wait to insert the key code to activate your subscription. The subscription date will start upon activation.

So in order to use a new activation key I need to completely uninstall the current Webroot and re-install it? I wish they would just treat it as an extension to your current subscription.
