Aren't these only 5w charging?
Why not click on it and read the description? It says 7.5W.

I don't own any iPhones but have seen people just stick their iPhones to metal workout equipments at the gym without a case or anything on the back of the phone.
Do some iPhones come with magnets on the back? Is this why this would work or this just magnetizes to the metal back of the phone?

Iphone 12s introduced Magnetic backing. This charger offers magnets for a "more secure" hold while charging, but is not necessary to charge. You can use it with any device that supports wireless charging.

Looks like this is just the charger - https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Magn...B08YMYPFNR

So the post is for the charger and a fast charger wall plug for same price as just the magnetic charger cable.
  • May not charge over 80%?
  • May overheat phone?
  • May work just as well as Apple's?

Very creative / deceptive marketing. While the wall plug is 20W, the wireless charging only outputs 7.5W. Of course, they used 20W to headline product description.

Blame Apple? Would you rather get a 7.5w brick that would literally have 0 other uses or a 20w brick you can use to charge other devices?
