This set of speakers is great for someone who simply wants a pair of satellite speakers for the rear channels of a home theater system. I actually have a pair of these. In fact, I bought them 3-days ago for $100 a pair so this is definitely a good deal for someone who is not particular. They do tend to have a lot of treble, and a steep roll-off of midrange at ear level. Nevertheless, it's a great deal but I'm not sure when this deal will expire.

These make good surround speakers, but I wouldn't recommend them for mains.
Also they usually go on sale for 50$ around black friday which is a more suitable price
