$90 more for the M32Q might be worth it for some people.

Why? I'm looking for a multipurpose 32-25 inch curved monitor for my son to take to college next month. He'll use it for gamin, XBOX and school work off a new Maccbook Pro. I've been researching for a few weeks now. I missef out on a Monoprice, which seemed solid. Any thoughts?

This is a nice LCD for gaming and everything else. I have one with one dead pixel; however.

Very solid monitor. I've had it for six months. Other than a single dead pixel which bothers me, it's firing on all cylinders. 32" is HUGE. Not recommended for multi monitor but wins otherwise.

i have had this monitor for about 3mos now and love it. Bought it for $299 at the time from bestbuy (mainly because their protection plan is pretty generous) and it's a good budget monitor that punches above it's price imo. I do wish it had built in speakers for convenience sake, but i just run a 2.1 soundbar on it. No dead pixels so far.

i just the gpu market wasnt so bad so i could take full advantage of the 165hz on the games i play or at least 120 stable at 1440p...currently have a 1070 so been using this monitor to game at 1080p which doesnt really scale well.

rn i am thinking about picking up another one just to have 2 matching monitors instead of this vertical 17in on the side. i dont think the m32q is quite worth the higher price point vs this.

I've had this monitor for some time now. It's good, love the size, but it has terrible smearing in dark scenes. If I had to guess, it's gotta be double digit response time - certainly not low single digit like it claims. Given the price, it's not a bad monitor, but it isn't a great monitor if you like playing first person shooter games.

Whereas I can agree it's dark scene frametimes aren't the best, I play almost solely FPS games and as long as your PC is pushing enough frames it's awesome for them. I just got an articulating arm wallmount for mine and so far am really liking getting that stand off my desk. Probably one of my only gripes with it was due to the space the stand took up.

I own this monitor feel free to inquire about it. it does have light bleed so it you absolutely can not live with that this isn't for your. I only notice it in a dark room if in looking for it. I don't think I've ever noticed it while gaming. Colors are pretty good but like others I've found HDR is very washed out

This or the 32" LG 165hz QHD VA panel from Walmart for $250?

I picked up the LG last week and haven't even opened it yet but was almost going to get this gigabyte one before I saw the Walmart near me had 4 of the LGs in stock (YMMV deal) Apparently the LG due to being a VA panel has some nice inky blacks.

I have the M27q it's really good. The colors pop. The screen is fast. It's nice, I only had it for 2 months so I can speak on longevity, but I've read plenty reviews on monoprice before I purchased the Gigabyte and it seemed a many people had either quality issues or longevity issues.
